I needed an inexpensive and easy to read large wall hanging clock to put outside. It is in a somewhat covered area, not very exposed to rain, sun, etc. It seems to be doing fine so far. I have found that regular clocks seem to last as long as exterior rated clocks if they have some protection from the elements.
